Art Commissions

Contemporary Impressionist Art for your home

If you’ve always dreamed of owning a unique piece of art for your home, then a commission is perfect for you.

My name is Anna and I am a Contemporary Impressionist Artist living in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. I have exhibited at Chelsea Art Society’s Annual Summer Exhibition for two years’ running (since 2024) and my art has been displayed at the Ayot St Lawrence Art Show, Kimpton Art Show and Broadway Gallery in Letchworth.

I paint en plein air and still life scenes from life and am inspired by Monet, Constable and Turner. The materials I use are oil paints, watercolours, pastels and black ink.

Here are some ideas of art pieces:

  • A painting of a favourite nook in your garden.

  • Your favourite dog walking route.

  • A landscape that makes your feel peaceful and calm.

  • A painting of your favourite flowers.

  • Some fruit in a bowl or a cup of tea or coffee.

My Commission Process

  • A woman with curly hair, wearing a striped sleeveless top, is smiling and sitting on a yellow-green couch, holding a pink and white mug. Behind her is a plant and wall decorations, including a painting of a black horse and a golden circular artifact.

    Initial Consultation

We'll start with a chat about your ideas. You can share photographs and any specific details you have in mind. This is where we define the size of your piece.

  • A white desk with a black pen, a potted succulent plant, a calculator, blank sheets of paper, paper clips, and a stack of papers.

    Quote and Agreement

Based on our discussion, I’ll provide a detailed quote and timeline for the project. Once you’re happy, we’ll finalise the agreement to begin the work.

  • A woman wearing a pink cap and a dark jacket poses for a selfie at an outdoor painting event near a park with a pond, trees, and several people, some painting on easels, in the background.

    Creation and Updates

I'll begin bringing your piece to life. I believe in a collaborative process, so I’ll share progress shots and updates to ensure the artwork is heading in the right direction.

  • A charming cottage with a thatched roof and brick chimney, surrounded by lush green trees and bushes, with a dirt path and wooden gate in the foreground.

    Final Delivery

Upon completion, the final artwork will be professionally finished and delivered to you, ready to be displayed and admired for years to come.
